i had one of these journals for something like three years. it was great and i filled it to bursting with everything from pictures to rants to bad gothic poetry. then i went crazy and deleted it all and smote its ruin on the mountaintop.
so.
things have changed since then. i'm a very different sort of person, and this is a very different sort of journal i would suppose.
bullets of things that have gone down since last i had a journal of any sort (as far as i can think of) <in chronological order>:
-junior year> smote journal
-kept up with acting, was supposed to be in Walking Through, designed the flier
-was readmitted to the hospital for Bulima (prev. admissions for Anorexia 2001,2002,2004).
-was freed from hospital
-denver flooded
-it's summer
-caroline leaves for college.
-Senior year begins
-training for Brazil open 2006 and black belt test
-almost get re-admitted to hospital
-go crazy, stay in room almost all the time, don't eat, sleep or move for a while
-craziness abates
-doin nothing but school, working out and tae kwon do for a while
-visit Caroline over thanksgiving break, good visit. am crazy.
-christmas time
-hanging out with friends sometimes, still crazy
-march---GET MY BLACK BELT!!!
-spring break- visit Caroline.. have mad awesome time.
-hella addicted to laxatives. very sick. crazy.
-Graduation. madness.
-going to BRAZIL OPEN 2006!!!!
-travel to brazil. go to Sao Paulo, Rio de Jienero, Ila Bella, and many other places. Get silver in my division in the Brazil Open TKD tourney.
-come back. am working for theater.
-work, work, work. bingo makes me want to kill myself.
-crazy
-decide to go to CSU instead of Northland. not sure about decision to this day. regret often.
-come to CSU. in dorms. rocky start.
-start smoking again
-hate my major. bummer.
-make a really long list of really bad mistakes.
-christmas break.
-break up with caroline for two weeks and go on ski vacation. vacation not go well.
-get back together with caroline. joyousness ensues.
-go back to school
-change major to Studio Art. much happier
-take first art classes. much joy. good teachers.
-march- assaulted by asshole. legal battle over sexual assault ensues.
-crazy, crazy, crazy. have to drop many classes. doom
-feeling better. not so crazy. thinking about summer.
-summer comes
-taking summer classes... do do do do
-travel to Northland. party hardy. very fun. go skinny dipping in Lake Superior in may. COLD.
-travel to Alaska. parents wanted to Cruise. i hate Cruising, but love Alaska. compromise.
-Alaska is awesome. cool pics. much fun.
-classes classes classes. enjoying art history
-get sad b/c i realize kate is moving away. moping for some time
-party!!! drive to wyoming on 4th of july.
-Carolines 21st. whata bash!
-school starts up again
-have job working at GLBTSS. LOVE JOB!!!!
-crazy crazy crazy.
-mind breaking
-tanner is living with us now. yay!!!
-missing kate a lot. booh.
-sean is non officially 'staying with us' whee!!!!!
-work, school, work, school, passoutfromexhaustion, work, school.
-earliest opening of A basin in 61 years... its gonna be a good ski season!!!!
> yep. thats the shortest summary of about 3 years i've ever done. so much more happened, but thats the cut and dry of it.
anyway. i felt a need to start another journal. i'll start posting art here too, after i finish this piece i'm working on. i figure i won't post anything retroactively. kind of make this a 'from here on out' event. yep
